Transportation Information
In order to better serve our families, the WCPSS Transportation Department has created a centralized Customer Service Center. Beginning Monday, November 5, WCPSS parents from any school transportation district may dial (919) 856-7890 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to receive a voicemail greeting redirecting them to their district offices and providing information on where to direct their specific question or concern.
For emergencies, such as locating a child who rides WCPSS transportation, parents may call 919-856-8050.
The Wake County Public School System manages student transportation through the Transportation Department. The Transportation Department divides the county into transportation zones. East Garner Middle School is served by the Garner Transportation zone in which all decisions regarding routes and bus stops are made. The direct line for Garner Transportation is 919-662-2408.
